Full-time opportunity at Valpas! Join us in making every trip safe from the soaring bed bug epidemic and toxic pesticides. We are looking for a special someone to join our product team in Helsinki as a Product Manager. Flexible start date in October/November. As a Product Manager, you will lead the discovery and delivery of our loved and growing product and help the company:

• Develop its holistic product and ensure the company’s long term vision, strategy and goals are represented on the product roadmap and daily product discovery and delivery
• Discover what should get built and determine what’s delivered to customers before actually committing resources to building it
• Deliver a product that is loved by customers and supports the goals of the business, while fostering an empowered environment in the product team and removing obstacles
• Ultimately earn the right to become the category winner in the category it itself creates and is the only one that can today fulfil it

You are probably a good candidate if you:

• Are enthusiastic about our purpose, product, and traveling
• Have a passion for products and solving customer problems
• Understand how programming and finance/marketing works and are deeply oriented toward customers, data, markets and business
• Get often complimented for intellectual curiosity on the status quo; for fast tech adoption and learning when presented with something new; and for persuasion and perseverance when faced with resistance
• Focus on outcomes, as opposed to output
• Tackle risks upfront by validating and testing them with users, customers, data and/or the market
• Have a couple of years of experience working for a small company in a product team of developers and designers
• Believe successful products are a result of interdisciplinary and open collaboration, as opposed to the whip and waterfall
